Astute Technical

OBJECTIVES

An already-established recruitment company that grew rapidly with global clients, Astute Technical needed to strengthen and mature their brand, delivering new client confidence and attracting more of the very best candidates.

STRATEGY

Starting with a consultation meeting with a research-focused approach we broke down Astute’s sector into the simplest form and meaning ‘Technical’. We decided that we would underpin their identity with just that, deconstructing the ‘A’ to become its simplest form, a triangle. We then replicated the triangular angles throughout their identity creating a clear, associative set of components, recognisable instantly by their clients and candidates.

New look, new direction

We used striking new colours, bold angles and upscaling perception to match the company’s increasing size and position within the technical recruitment sector.

Recruitment focused web application

We designed and delivered a deeply engaging and comprehensive website for optimal user experience. Working alongside specialist recruitment developers, our design and direction was applied to a powerful software platform that delivers integrations with Broadbean and Bullhorn recruitment software, whilst ensuring all user interactions are closely monitored by the detailed analytics suite.

Standing out

Every year Astute take part in an industry event called RWM. As part of their new branding we worked with our partners to design and develop a stand solution that is both visually compelling and practical in that it can be resized depending on the space they exhibit in.

Knowledge is power

Astute have a genuine interest in the history of power and an understanding that knowledge forms part of what they do. As part of the interior design project, we researched and designed a museum-style timeline so that those working at Astute can take five minutes out of their day, away from desk, to learn the history of those great minds who were instrumental in harnessing and delivering electrical power and technology.
